A new $1.8 trillion Proposal Would Protect Increased Obamacare Subsidy Premiums
A new Act that President Biden is trying to push through Congress would help keep subsidies originally designed as short-term solution to help families afford coverage due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the Biden administration opened a Special Enrollment Period until August 15, 2021 in order to allow more flexibility and expanded coverage for people to choose Marketplace plans in a time that is usually locked.
